can i travel south america with just a visa for brazil?

i’m from the united states and im getting a visa to go to brazil to visit my friend, but while we’re there we want to go to paraguay, argentina, and so on.. can i do this or do i need a separate visa because im not from brazil?

    Check each country’s visa requirement. I have travelled to Argentina, Peru and Chile and could enter without problem. You will definitely need one for Bolivia.
