My fiance and I had some places (out of the country) in mind to travel during January, but all the places we picked do not have such pleasant weather during January…. soooooo, where are some good places to go in South America during January? Or where are some other places to travel with good weather besides Australia and Cape Town?…. If there aren’t many places out the country, what about in the US (besides Florida, and Cali)?? Thank everyone who answered!!

Hello,
I am thinking about travelling to Brazil next year summer by doing volunteering work with (I to I organisation) or any other travel abroad organisation. But since I don’t know much information about the country, I wanted some useful information. I think I am mostly like to travel on my own and I would explore the country on my own. This would be the first time I am travelling on my own. I might choose to volunteer in a community work, or teach English but I am thinking about doing volunteering work in Rio De Janeiro.
I also wanted some advice if it is safe travelling to the Amazon River and taking a tour there but I am not sure if I will have the time. Plus is there any good place that I should visit.

Thanks

Nickolas

I want to travel to a city or town in South America that offers some good outdoor recreation/adventure, like whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, anything along those lines. Where should I go?

I live in Southern Cal with a fixed income so.
If I had a boat, could I really travel around south America? Port hopping?

Other than Dock fees and groceries, are there fees involved?

i live in san diego. i’m not really religous, and technically i’m jewish, so i don’t want to go with a church IF it means that it will be more about spreading the religon than helping people. if anyone has any information on trips to africa i would like to see that too, but i’d prefer going to south america.

I am single and love to travel. I have done quite a bit of traveling to visit friends across the United States and also traveled to Europe and South America with friends. Now a lot of my friends are getting married and I am finding less people to travel with. Any suggestions.

Would like there to be a beach, city surroundings & places to see, night life, nice weather, etc. Preferably South America or the Carribean. Also a reasonable price.

We usually go to Mexico every year doing the all inclusive deals. But this time we want to do something different, Europe or South America, especially since I graduate with my first bachelors in spring 2008! So I am trying to plan now for this trip… We would like to go somewhere with a beach and we want to stay possibly 4-7 days max.

I already have a pretty good job, but its soon to get even more desirable once i get that piece of paper. I want to start my post graduate career off relaxed and refreshed…. Any suggestions? I was thinking Italy.

And out travel time range would be between June through October.

When is the best time to travel to your suggested getaway!?

I want to go to South America, but I didn’t know if a person could buy a car (if roads were good), fly directly there, or find a boat or cruise that went there, drive there, etc. Any information would help me.
