My best friend and I want to spend a month travelling in South America. We’d like to do some adventurous stuff, as well as some relaxing tourist-kind of stuff. Where should we go? We’d like to see and do as much as possible, while spending as little as possible. Also, we both speak English and French– no Spanish. Recommendations?

Im planning to travel to South America in Jan for 3 months but would appreciate some guidance. I’m pretty sure I want to do either Argentina, Brazil and Peru or just Argentina and Brazil. Is 3 months enough to do all 3? or should I stick to just two. Also I want to be in Brazil for carnival. My budget is around £3000 for the 3 months (not including outgoing flight).

I am 21, want to relax, and have a bit of a party scene so I can go out at night. We both speak Spanish so I thought South America would be a good place to go since we would be able to communicate.
