How can I lose 20 pounds in 5 weeks, and can I?

I’m not implying crash diets because I can never follow through with them and I always gain the weight back. My family has the tendency to gain weight quickly, but for the summer we’re going on vacation to South America.

Now, I need to lose approximately 20 poounds in about five weeks healthily, and I was wondering how I can do this healthily?

Will eliminating meats help? Do certain foods have the tendency to increase metablistic activity?

Tips? Advice? Personal experience?

    The last 25 months eat lots of fruits whole grains and protein.

    The food you are only supposed to the body will start not really healthy way to lose ive.
    The body will think its getting try smaller meals wont work if you might get close just wouldnt push it will start to hold on to keep all nutrients its starving and then level off.

    I agree with HAPPYJELLO and I am very impressed with her answer, but it is a lifestyle change… so take her diet advice and then add some serious exercise to it and you should be lean in no time

    Try high intensity interval training – run then walk. run then walk
    Lift light weights often.

    And as happy jello stated – drink lots of water.
